A major new initiative in the treatment of those suffering from mental health problems in West Wales has begun with the opening today of a new hospital at Pembroke Dock.

The beginning of a new era in the care of the mentally ill in West Wales is under way with the turning of the first sod on Wednesday 9 January to celebrate the start of building work on a new hospital at Pembroke Dock.
