4See Group adds asbestos consultancy
Published: 7th July 2011
4See Group, one of the UK’s leading health and safety consultancies, has grown further with the addition of O’Sullivan Asbestos Ltd.
O’Sullivan Asbestos brings together 4See Group, of Towcester and the Northampton based O’Sullivan Associates. The company will specialise in assisting clients in legal duties to identify and manage the risks posed by asbestos. It will also provide assistance for asbestos bulk analysis, air monitoring and four-stage clearance testing.
The addition of O’Sullivan Asbestos further enhances 4See Group’s development of providing valuable services for existing and future clients. It follows recent additions, Burcote Consultancy, an energy, environmental and sustainability business, and ClearView Safety, which provides cost effective, non-management training in areas such as First Aid, Fire Safety and manual handling.
Mike Walker, managing director of the 4See Group, said: “This addition will enable us to supply a full range of asbestos consultancy services, specifically undertaking management, refurbishment and pre-demolition surveys, re-inspections, production of asbestos management plans and management of asbestos removal projects.
“As well as another exciting step in the growth of the Group, this development also provides us with direct access to the resources and skills that many of our clients need in this area, skills which we have had to outsource until now.”
Kathryn Hewitt will join the 4See Group as managing director of the new business. Kathryn has ten years experience in the asbestos field and successfully started up O’Sullivan Associates.
Said Kathryn Hewitt: “This is very good news for O’Sullivan Associates and the 4See Group. It is a perfect match and will allow O’Sullivan Asbestos to grow as a business for the benefit of customers seeking asbestos services. I very much look forward to working with the team at 4See Group.”
